Anna Marie Burleson, the daughter of the late Alfred and Maxine Evelyn Eldridge Hill, was born in Des Arc, Missouri on April 3, 1942, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on October 31, 2009, at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 28 days.
Mrs. Burleson had lived in the Dexter area most of her life.
In 1962, she was married to Amos Burleson in New Madrid, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Amos Burleson of Dexter, Missouri; five sons, Glen Burleson of Dudley, Missouri, Earl Burleson and Tommy Burleson both of Dexter, Missouri, Jimmy Burleson of Bernie, Missouri, Randy Burleson of Puxico, Missouri; six grandchildren; one brother, John Hill of Fisk, Missouri; six sisters, Wilma Fite and Bessie Cooper both of Oklahoma, Rosie Burleson of Texas, Betty Vaughn of Matthews, Missouri, Glenda Starnes of Dexter, Missouri, and Betty May Burleson of Arkansas. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby, Art & Freddie Hill.
Friends may call on Monday, November 2, 2009, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at 1:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Leon Corzine of Dudley, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
