Allean Triplett, daughter of the late Amiel and Ellen Eaton Hunt, was born in Bernie, Missouri, on February 20, 1916, and passed away at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on April 23, 2012, at the age of 96 years, 2 months, and 3 days.
Mrs. Triplett had lived in Essex, Missouri most of her life. She was a member of the South Pleasant Valley General Baptist Church near Dexter and was a member of the Eastern Star.
On March 27, 1950, she was married to Jasper Junior Triplett in Bernie, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2001.
Surviving are one daughter, Carolyn Sue Taul-Remmert and husband, Robert Remmert of St. Charles, Missouri; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Evelene Metcalf of Crane, Missouri. Other family and friends also survive her. She was preceded in death by one sister, Imogene Williamson, four brothers, Clifford, Herbert, Alvin, and Clarence Hunt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Harold Carter officiating.
Interment will be in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
