Alberta Schnakenberg Webb, daughter of the late Rev. Claus Henry and Martha Helen Lehnhoff Schnakenberg, was born in Dalton, Missouri on May 4, 1907, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Dexter, Missouri on July 24, 2009, at the age of 102 years, 2 months and 20 days.
Mrs. Webb had lived most of her life in the Dexter area. She received a Bachelors Degree from Central Wesley and graduated in Piano from the conservatory. She received a masters degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. She retired from the Dexter School District after forty-one years of service where she was instrumental in forming the first marching band. Teaching well over 10,000 students and sharing her talents as an instrumental and vocal instructor. She was active in many community choirs. She was a member of SEMO Music Educators Association, Adult Music Club, 9th District of Federated Music Clubs, SEMO Band Masters Association, Community Vespers and Sunrise Services and member of the Chapter CP-PEO. She was the oldest and longest serving member of the First United Methodist Church in Dexter, Missouri where she served as the choir director for forty-nine years and played the pipe organ.
On April 19, 1979, she was married to William F. Webb, Sr. in Dexter, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1984 .
Surviving are one stepdaughter: Martha Webb of Dexter, Missouri. Two step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild. Other relatives and friends also survives. She was preceded in death by one stepson William F. Webb, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009, at 1:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Louis Lowe of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
