Alberta Mae Hayes Albeta Mae Hayes, the daughter of the late Charles Clinton and Lavena Ray Nation Thomas, was born in Broseley, Missouri on August 17, 1921 and passed away at Cypress Point Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on May 2, 2005, at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 15 days. Mrs. Hayes had lived in Dudley, Missouri most of her life and was a member of the Dudley Community Church. On November 12, 1938, she was married to Raymond "Jockey" Hayes in Dudley, Missouri. Mr. Hayes preceded her in death on September 19, 1996. Surviving are two sons: Gary Dale Hayes and Donald Ray Hayes both of Dudley, Missouri one daughter: Faye Bolster of Dudley, Missouri, 2 sisters: Mary Hanell of Flint, Michigan and Ruby Morgan of Granite City, Illinois, her brother-in-law: Carl E. Hayes of Gastonia, North Carolina, 16 grandchildren and 24 greatgrandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Ann Williamson on January 16, 2002. . Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2005, at 1:00 P.M. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Donald Morgan of Dudley, Missouri Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
