Albert Jones

Albert Lee Jones, son of the late Albert Truman and Dorothy Atichison Jones, was born in Ottowa, Kansas on July 19, 1942, and passed away at the Sells Nursing Home in Matthews, Missouri on September 16, 2013, at the age of 71 years, 1 month and 28 days. He had lived in Yakama, Washington for 35 years where he worked in a paper mill. He moved to Dexter, Missouri six years ago and was of Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed fishing and dancing. He was married to Carol Rogers and she preceded him in death. Surviving are 3 brothers, Tommy Jones, Dale Jones and Ronnie Young all of Dexter; 3 sisters, Barbara Groves of Corning, Arkansas, Mary Wilkerson of Defunica, Florida, and Patsy Rogers of Lowndes, Missouri. Other family and friends also survive. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 19, 2013 after 10:00 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 19 , 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Dale Jones Jr. of Oklahoma officiating. Interment will follow in the Rogers Cemetery in Lowdnes, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements
