Brenda Smith, daughter of the late Sylvester August & Rita Marie Hagen Wibbenmeyer, was born in Perryville, Missouri on September 8, 1955, and passed away at the Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter, Missouri on May 18, 2015, at the age of 59 years, 8 months and 10 days. She was raised in Perryville and moved to Parma when she married where she had worked at Winchester Place and the D & L One Stop. Brenda loved her family and cooking meals to have them around. She made a mean chicken and dumplins and turkey dressing. She treated people the way she wanted to be treated and treated everyone equal. She especially liked crab legs at Red Lobster. On October 6, 1973, she was married to Jimmy Smith in Risco, Missouri. Surviving are her husband, Jimmy Smith of Parma; one son and wife, Chris & Janice Smith of Risco; one daughter and husband, Teletia & Steve Prewett of Doniphan; six grandchildren, Cody Smith & Ana Smith both of Risco, Samantha Smith of Puxico, JC Pinkerton of Farmington, Allen Prewett and Brittany Hall both of Doniphan; one great grandson, Karrson Sisco of Puxico; two sisters, Mary Jane Combs of St. Louis and Patricia Hicks of Old Appleton. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sara Smith; two brothers, Stephen & John Wibbenmeyer; two sisters, Regina Thompson and Lillian Martin; and two nieces, Laura Wibbenmeyer and Renee' Weibrecht. Friends may visit on Thursday, May 21, 2015, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Parma, Missouri. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 22, 2015, at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Parma, Missouri with the Rev. Nicholas Robertson of Risco officiating. Interment with be in the Rosewood Cemetery in Malden, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
