Glenda Johnson, the daughter of the late Albert Oscar and Mattie Delmar Daniel Milton, was born in Dexter, Missouri on August 27, 1932, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on October 9, 2005, at the age of 73 years, 1 month and 12 days. She had lived in Dexter, Missouri all her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter. She had been a choir member for many years and had participated the First Baptist Church Christmas Pageant from 1984 to 2001. She had worked at Stovall's Dept. Store, the Percy Clippard Insurance Agency and had worked with her son at the Dairy House for several years. On February 24, 1951, she was married to Walter H. Johnson in Dexter, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 20, 2002. Surviving are two sons, David Johnson of Dexter, Missouri, Danny (Nancy) Johnson of Jackson, Missouri, four grandchildren, Rebecca Johnson of Jackson, Missouri, Ashley Johnson of St. Louis, Missouri, Nicole Duncan and Miranda Johnson both of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at the First Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at the First Baptist Church in Dexter with the Rev. Mike Watkins of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow on Wednesday morning in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri is in charge of arrangements.
