Iva Louise Harty Iva Louise Harty, the daughter of the late Clayton and Nona Haney Wilfong, was born in Wayne County, Missouri on August 9, 1920, and passed away at the Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on August 20, 2005, at the age of 85 years, and 11 days. Mrs. Harty had lived in St. Louis from 1968 till 1987 when she moved to Wappapello. She was of the Baptist Faith. On December 1, 1937, she was married to Franklin William Harty. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1988. Surviving are 2 daughters: Patsy Crawford of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Marjorie Lawrence of Puxico, Missouri. 2 sons: Loyd Harty of Wappapello, Missouri and Michael Harty of Dexter, Missouri, 4 sisters: Dorothy Scott of Puxico, Missouri, Nadine Gaines of Puxico, Missouri, Loreine Kieth of Popalr Bluff, Missouri and Wilma Crawford of Wappapello, Missouri. 2 Brothers: Cletus Wilfong of Springfield, Missouri, Dale Wilfong of Wappapello, Missouri. 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by 1 grandson: Jeff Harty. Friends may call after 6:00 P.M. on Monday, August 22, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2005, at 10:00 A.M. in the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico with the Rev. Ray Placher and Rev. Scott Sifford both of Puxico, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri is in charge of arrangements.
